Greetings and absence messages
Sometimes companies skip confirming customers with their messages. In such cases, customers can expect quick automated responses when sending a message. This effective feature reduces time and effort; and helps to interact with people even when the company is not working.
WhatsApp’s predefined automated messages are commonly used:
- Welcome messages – These are the messages that a customer shares when they first engage with a brand.
- Away Messages – A type of message used to notify customers that the company is unavailable if they initiate the message outside of business hours.

Open the WhatsApp Business app > Go to Settings > Business settings > Tap Away messages > Toggle on the Away messages setting.
You can set a specific time when you want to send this message. You can even choose options like “custom schedule”, “always send” and “after business hours”. Similarly, you can edit the messages in the settings.
Message statistics
In business, WhatsApp message statistics allow organizations to check important metrics and statistics related to customer we made a mistake interactions. This includes important metrics such as the number of messages shared or read by the recipient.
For example, when you need to know the number of messages read, use the function to check the corresponding response. The function simply offers to check the performance of the messages sent.
- Press Menu .
- Go to settings.
- Click Business Settings.
- Go to the b2b phone list “Statistics” section.
